Job Description:

As a Systems Administrator Senior you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more operating systems within AWS

  • Work with a diverse set of technology including web applications, e-mail systems, databases, security systems and network configurations, CRM, IVR/ACD, DevSecOps

  • Work with an experienced team supporting a critical national health care system

  • Ability to be on call 24x7x365

Required Skills:

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience and at least 3 years of Systems Administration with AWS

  • AWS Experience in managing virtual networks, instances, databases, storage

  • Experience in Linux and Windows server operating environment administration

  • Experience troubleshooting Apache Tomcat/web applications

  • Experience with back up/recovery and patch management

  • Experience with Atlassian Jira, Confluence, Crucible/Fisheye,Crowdstrike, Splunk, Puppet, Security Tools, laptops/desktops

  • Experience researching and troubleshooting OS log warnings and errors

  • Experience with resource Monitoring

  • Experience in Configuration Management

  • Experience Creating/maintaining SOPs

  • Experience in Incident planning and response

  • Basic scripting skills

  • Ability to obtain Public Trust

The likely salary range for this position is $80,226 - $103,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
