Job Description:

GDIT is seeking a Digital Transformation Lead who will strategize, manage, and advocate for Agile development methodologies for our team. They will work with a Cloud team of various Agile maturity levels to transform the program from waterfall to Agile methodologies. The Digital Transformation Lead will be responsible for; innovating, improving, and maintaining our product roadmap and keeping us aligned with the CMS Cloud team. This individual will report to the Program Manager and support ad hoc analysis as well, drive user experience improvements, adoption of processes and assist in managing our strategic partner relationships.

Candidates must be able to communicate well with internal and external customers in both written and verbal form and be able to operate in a quick pace environment.

Successful candidates are eager to take the initiative on a very large Cloud resell program where attention to detail is crucial.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

· Champion organizational change management efforts that impact future engineering team, program operations, and service delivery within program’s teams.

· Directly support teams with Service Delivery related strategy and design, and partner with the leadership team to bring Agile methodologies to the team.

· Partner with the team to implement an effective Agile framework that covers all elements of program delivery to measure and provide insights into customer experience and bottlenecks

· Implement best practices for the Program to include ITIL, Agile, PMBOK frameworks for delivering IT Services work that include use of Jira, performance tracking, and workload prioritization of the combined teams to effectively meet customer milestones.

· Support the development of status work products, to include updating materials that showcase accurate service delivery metrics and team performance to mission outcomes.

· Constantly seek and suggest process improvement ideas and then lead the approved ideas to completion.

· Guide scrum-teams through all sprints of a program increment, removing impediments and championing the team

· Organize and facilitate sprint planning and release planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and other agile related events

· Track and communicate team metrics and sprint/release progress to all teams and management

· Assist the scrum team in developing and estimating user stories that are clearly articulated with well-defined acceptance criteria

· Update agile tracking systems to provide transparency on product and sprint backlogs

· Resolve complex problems escalated by team members.

· Develop 3-year Product Roadmap

· Develop training guide and material for Team All Hands

· Coach and provide guidance to less-experienced analysts and assist with moving blockers in assigned sprints.

· Professionally present to all levels of customers clearly to help articulate the current status and field adhoc needs.

· Responding timely to all customer inquiries via Jira, Slack and email.

· Ensuring Jira tickets are updated with the proper status.

Required Skills:

· Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent experience

· 5+ years relevant experience

· Works independently under limited supervision

· Expert level experience with Microsoft Excel

Desired Skills:

· 3+ years’ experience in Jira and Confluence

· Familiarity with AWS Cloud

· Demonstrated work experience in Agile environment and understanding of Agile ceremonies and artifacts

· Preferred experience transitioning team from waterfall to Agile environment

· Agile certification preferred

· WS certification preferred

· Extensive knowledge of relevant technology or subject matter

· Effective administrative and organizational skills

· Effective communication skills

The likely salary range for this position is $114,750 - $155,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
