Job Description:

GDIT is seeking a seasoned Solutions Architect to lead a portfolio of Business. The successful candidate will have 10+ years of experience delivering innovative IT Infrastructure and Application Development Services to the Federal Government. The successful candidate will have responsibility and oversight for fostering strong client relationships, developing technical solutions, and ensuring service delivery excellence across multiple programs. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Federal Contracting processes, exceptional communication skills, and a proactive approach to driving growth by developing differentiated service offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Engagement

Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with key Federal Stakeholders.

Client Communications: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients while ensuring clear, consistent, and effective communication at all levels of the organization. Ensure both vertical and horizontal alignment across the client base.

Client Satisfaction: Measure, monitor, and improve client satisfaction levels. Surface and address issues, concerns, and requests promptly and effectively.

Networking: Attend industry events, conferences, and meetings to represent the company and engage with current and potential clients.

Technical Solution Development

Needs Assessment: Conduct thorough assessment of client needs and requirements to develop tailored, differentiated technical solutions.

Proposal Development: Support the preparation and submission of high-quality proposals, including technical solutions, BOEs, pricing, and delivery plans.

Innovate Everywhere: Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to deliver innovative solutions on existing and future programs.

Collaboration: Drive solution development by collaborating with our CTO organization, Digital Consulting group, solutions architects, and key technology partners.

Service Delivery Excellence

Performance Monitoring: Track and report on service delivery performance, identify areas for improvement, and help unsure that Program Managers and Technical SMEs are delivering successful against contract requirements and customer technology roadmaps.

Compliance: Ensure that service delivery activities and SLAs, KPIs, and OLAs are met/exceeded in accordance with contract requirements, federal regulations, and company policies.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 10 years’ experience managing US Federal Government contracts, with a proven track record of meaningful client engagement, technical solution development and delivery, and proposal development.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of federal procurement processes and regulations.

  • Application Development and Modernization (management and technical experience).

  • Enterprise IT Infrastructure (management and technical experience).

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong project management and project execution skills.

  • Proven ability to develop and implement technical solutions.

  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, coach, and manage senior IT Leaders.

The likely salary range for this position is $182,750 - $247,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

Paid leave and paid holidays are prorated based on the employee’s date of hire.
