Job Description:

GDIT is conducting a search for a Sr. Contracts Administrator who will be a trusted advisor to all customers (internal and external) to drive company and client missions. You will work with a team in a complex and competitive market to provide stand-out services as we strive to be the best in all we do. Additionally, you will provide independent work to provide every action of the contract lifecycle and use creative thinking skills to drive solutions that help solve the critical missions GDIT serves.

Position will be located in one of GDIT’s Washington, DC metropolitan area offices. (Chantilly, VA; Fairfax, VA; Falls Church, VA; Frederick, MD; Towson, MD; Warrenton, VA)


  • With minimal supervision, provides support for pre-RFP/RFQ analysis, proposal preparation review/support, negotiations, post-award contract set-up and administration, and contract closeout support. The specific types of duties include:

  • Responsible for the preparation/review of moderately complex cost/price proposals. Work with proposal team throughout the capture and proposal process

  • Negotiates proposals, contracts, and subcontracts with prime contractors

  • Provide contractual and business recommendations to technical staff and other leverage leaders

  • Initiates and maintains contract administration and business relationships with internal and external customers and stakeholders

  • Identifies, tracks, mitigates, and resolves risk issues

  • Monitors performance of contracts for conformance to contractual terms and conditions and ensures that contracts are in accordance with legal requirements, customer specifications, laws, and regulations

  • Communicates clearly and consistently both orally and in written format to enable appropriate actions

  • Develops proactive approaches to problem solving, as well as working to find efficiencies

  • Works with legal as appropriate to ensure compliance

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or an additional 4 years of related experience in lieu of degree

  • 6 years of Federal Government cradle to grave contracts experience

  • 6 years of FAR experience

  • 3 years of HSAR experience

  • Must be a US citizen for systems access

  • Experience supporting Health and Human Services agency contracts preferred

  • Strong organizational skills and able to be a team player
