Job Description:

We are seeking a Project Manager Lead!

Essential Job Functions:

  • Develop and execute operational and strategic plans for IT service and telecommunications support

  • Manage all assigned contractors in support of project delivery, and directly interface with senior government stakeholders

  • Plan, evaluate, develop, staff, and implement projects to evolve operational systems to achieve new capabilities

  • Develop and maintain customer service assurance models and identify opportunities to enhance existing service offerings

  • Understand the customer’s long term objectives and effectively communicate those goals to the internal Cambridge groups to better meet the client’s needs (including product enhancements, pricing initiatives, and partnerships)

  • Must have a firm comprehension of the customers’ requirements, hot buttons and issues, understand the strengths/weaknesses of our competitors and create/develop strategies that highlight strengths and mitigate weaknesses

  • Strengthen existing customer relationships to gain strategic positioning as well as retain and grow existing business.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A minimum Bachelor’s degree required (MBA or equivalent preferred), with 10+ years of experience working within the federal sector

  • 6-8 years of project/program management experience required

  • Must have an active Secret security clearance, Top Secret or TS/SCI preferred

  • Strong planning and schedule management skills

  • Experience and success in managing subcontractors

  • Strong communication skills with both writing and speaking

  • Architecture and engineering experience in developing and integrating network and enterprise management systems in large enterprise/carrier class networks

  • Familiarity/experience with the DISN OSS (Operational Support Systems)

  • Working knowledge of TMForum concepts

  • PMP Certification

  • Working knowledge of DoDAF

  • Experience in Information Assurance and Certification & Accreditation process and policies and familiarity with the DIACAP

  • Strategic planning, account management, account planning (including account profiling, account positioning strategy, customer needs analysis, sales opportunity development, service improvement planning, and long range account management strategies) and proven contract negotiation skills required

  • This position will be based out of Arlington, VA office to start, and will then move to Columbia, MD; some local travel will be required to attend customer meetings at Ft Meade, MD
