GDIT is the Prime contractor for the Flight School XXI (FSXXI) program which supports the United States Army Aviation Center of Excellence (USAACE). Located in Daleville, AL, GDIT owns and operates the facilities that provides flight simulator training.
GDIT has an immediate opening for a Training Support Package (TSP) Writer / Battlemaster in Fort Rucker, AL. The writer will develop training support materials and products to be used to support Army Aviation's Professional Military Education exercises in a simulation environment and provide Battlemaster support for exercises. This position requires a candidate who has served as a company grade officer or warrant officer. Essential job functions include: Experience in writing operations orders, fires annex and appendices products for the brigade and battalion levels. Currency with airspace management or mission planning software a plus.
-Ability to acquire a Secret clearance
-Experience in command post operations
-Experience working with adult learning and training methodologies
-Working knowledge of the Command Post of the Future (CPOF)
-Possess basic computer skills with Microsoft Office Programs
