General Dynamics Information Technology SENIOR SME MISSION COMMAND EXERCISE in Ft Bragg, North Carolina
Position's Primary Duties: Plan, prepare, coordinate and execute MRX/CPX focused at the CJSOTF, SOTF, AOB, FOB, SFOB and ARSOTF level. Incorporate in the MRX/CPX interaction between the training audience (SOF unit) and the SOMTC exercise cells (Lower Control, Adjacent Units, Non-Government Organizations, International Organizations, Media, Opposing Forces, Higher Command).
Design and build theater specific scenarios to test the full range of war-fighting capabilities of the training audience. Develop scenarios for exercises covering the following disciplines: Special Forces Operations, Intelligence, Military Information Support Operations, Civil Affairs, Logistics, Fires, Insurgency Forces, Future Operations, Civilian/Non-combatant Safeguards, Other Government Agencies Coordination, and Internal Organization Activities.
Bachelors Degree in a related technical or military discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work/military experience.
8-10 years of related experience supporting military operations.
Special Skills/Qualifications Required: Graduate of a U.S. military officer’s intermediate course or Senior Service College. Or graduate from one of the following U.S. military Noncommissioned Officer Education System course: First Sergeant Course or Sergeants Major Course. Ability to formulate and integrate exercise scenarios into the SOMTC training environment or exercise.
Minimal Background/Experience Required: Assignment to Special Operations Forces (Special Forces, Military Information Support Operations, Civil Affairs, Ranger Regiment, Special Operations Aviation, Special Mission units), or assignment to one of the following: Military Intelligence, Logistics Corps, Field Artillery. (Equivalent assignments within other Department of Defense military branches apply.)
Additional Desired Qualifications/Experience: Experience researching, planning, preparing, coordinating, and executing Mission Rehearsal and Command Post Exercises (MRX/CPX).
Security Clearance: Possess a Top Secret clearance.
