Job Description:

The Computer Technician Support IV primary role is to provide a single point of contact for end users to receive support and maintenance within the organization's desktop computing environment. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all hardware equipment and software (including but not limited to PC, terminals, printers/scanners, VoIPS and desktop video teleconferencing centers (DVTC)) to ensure optimal workstation performance. The technician will troubleshoot problem areas (in person, by telephone, or via remote access) in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end-user assistance where required. A basic understanding of networking principles is preferred, as well as working knowledge of fiber and cable patching to the workstations and Local Area Network (LAN) rooms.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: AA or equivalent + 6 yrs related experience
