Job Description:

On this contract, GDIT develops, delivers and maintains cyber training for incident responders, forensic examiners, investigators, system administrators, or any DoD member who must ensure defense information systems are secure from unauthorized use, counterintelligence threats and criminal activities. GDIT provides cyber operations and cyber investigations expertise, instructional systems design (ISD) support for curriculum development, multimedia support for distance education and delivery. GDIT’s support includes the integration and maintenance of a state-of-the-art online learning management system (LMS) incorporating sophisticated records management, custom reporting and formal/informal distance education delivery. GDIT is seeking a Instructional Delivery and Development Deputy Manager to assist with managing the day-to-day activities of 70+ cybersecurity instructors on our largest contract. The successful candidate is expected to successfully complete the following:

Operations

  • Overall responsibility of maintaining the MTT and In-Residence schedules in Confluence

  • Coordinate with concentration leads and post the final schedule in confluence with minimal changes

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (FL and VA satellite schoolhouses)

  • Complete the WSR, MSR and collect Trip Reports from MTT LeadsWSR, MSR and Trip Reports are to be emailed to the Strat Comm Manager

  • Ensure dispositions are sent to the registrar every Friday afternoon (or at the end of every iteration)

  • Review student evals, identify improvements and provide feedback

  • Be an advocate for the instructors and ensure they have all the tools necessary to succeed

  • Successfully execute other duties as assigned to ensure consistency and continuity

  • DoD Secret Clearance Required

People Management

  • Schedule, track and coordinate all interviews

  • Coordinate interview times with concentration leads and request phone screens/ in person interviews from the resource manager

  • Coordinate weekly Concentration Leads meetings (and provide weekly agenda)

  • Ensure all instructors are IAT Level II and CTT+ certified

  • Assist with new hire onboarding process

Forward Thinking

  • Assist with researching innovative ways to improve the classroom experience

  • Look into other training programs to see what we can learn from them

  • Assist with discovering new cutting-edge tools that keeps us current and relevant both in the classroom and on development
