General Dynamics Information Technology Administrative Assistant II- TS/SCI Polygraph in McLean, Virginia
Position requires an in-scope TS/SCI clearance and polygraph.
Performs a variety of general administrative tasks in support of the day-to-day operations of an office, group or customer.
Monday - Thursday; 8-1; part time position; Must have prior experience in customer space. Send and receive mail through appropriate mail and courier services, operate equipment and print labels on local printer. As needed will make deliveries or pick up fromfrom customers in two Reston buildings. Will troubleshoot subscription delivery issues and as needed will report to Library at HQ to assist with special projects. experience with automated office environment- familiarity with Windows, Outlook and Excel recommentded and ability to learn Library Systems required.
Performs a variety of general administrative tasks, such as preparing reports and correspondence, answering phones, filing, and sorting and distributing mail, in support of the day-to-day operations of an office, group or customer.
Compiles various contract, program, and financial data using various database programs, and prepares monthly status reports based on the results.
Collects and inputs timesheet information into automated accounting system and processes labor corrections.
Processes purchasing requisitions, invoices for consultants and subcontractors, and travel and expense reports.
Serves as point of contact for the office or group on issues related to accounting, human resources, purchasing, and other departments, as well as outside contacts such as customers, vendors, and subcontractors.
Participates in special projects as required.
Associates Degree in a related business discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience.
1-3 years of related administrative experience.
