General Dynamics Information Technology Special Assistant - Level II -TS/SCI with Polygraph in McLean, Virginia
Position requires an in-scope TS/SCI clearance and polygraph.
Performs various advanced administrative and secretarial duties in support of a company or customer executive. Typically supports executive(s) at the VP level.
Core Hours 8-4:30Manage calendars for two SIS officers with moderately complex schedules. Responsible for communicating with other work units within or superior to the organization to effectively resolve calendar items. Must reschedule calendar items to accommodate the changing priorities and needs of the officers and will notify affected parties of the changes. Vet and refer visitors, respond to inquiries and take actions to resolve inquiries and concerns. Experienced in Microsoft Office and customer systems for Accesses, Travel, and Supplies/Inventory Management. Will screen and distribute mail, maintain conference room calendars, track repair requests, and maintain office check in/check out procedures. Complete necessary actions for Access updates. Familiarity with customer internal communication systems.
Prepares and types correspondence, reports, presentation materials, and memoranda, usually of a confidential nature.
Answers and screens telephone calls and responds to routine inquiries.
Prepares and maintains files and other records.
Schedules and maintains calendar of appointments, meetings, and travel itineraries, and coordinates related arrangements.
May take dictation and transcribe notes.
Processes expense reports.
Creates spreadsheets and maintains databases.
May provide work leadership to less-experienced administrative staff.
Participates in special projects as required.
Associates Degree in a related business discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience.
8-10 years of related administrative experience.
