Job Description:

As the Value Management Office Manager supporting the Program Manager and leading the Value Management Office, you will interact with leadership and functional staffs across the Sector, GDIT, and serve as the focal point for interfacing with Government customers within US Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM), and other Department of Defense organizations within the United States Government. The Value Management Office Manager is responsible for the program’s continual service improvement efforts, risk management program, SLA/metrics management and quality/auditing while optimizing operational enhancements, innovation, and continuous improvements. Our customers require strategic thinking and the ability to synchronize priorities across the global enterprise while improving mission operations and customer satisfaction.

Duties:

  • Develops and oversees the program's CSI efforts. Coordinates and collaborates with the program staff to ensure the successful completion of CSI initiatives and reports ongoing CSI initiatives’ status to the PM.

  • Develops and oversees the program’s risk management program. Coordinates and interacts with the USSTRATCOM customer to ensure the identification and mitigation/acceptance of program risks.

  • Ensures all systems are maintained and operated in accordance with approved SOPs at agreed levels as outlined in formal SLAs. Coordinates with program staff to report the monthly status of SLAs and other program metrics

  • Works collaboratively across the program to ensure standardization of day-to-day operations of enterprise systems and services.

  • Works collaboratively across technical teams in support of Incident, Problem, Change and Release Management.

  • Works and interfaces with senior Government leaders. Attends customer meetings and serves as customer liaison.

  • Interacts with vendors, other agencies, and other client staff on behalf of the client.

  • Supervises assigned staff, including subordinate managers, as applicable.

  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.

  • Assists with the capture of new business opportunities and recompetes and assists with proposal efforts.

  • Must possess excellent oral and written communications skills with a demonstrated capability for dealing with all levels of Government management personnel, Contractor managers, and other Government representatives

  • Participates in special projects as required.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in a course of study that is substantially useful in managing complex information technology (IT) programs or equivalent progressive Military Experience as a Senior Leader in USSTRATCOM.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 5+ years of overall IT / Infrastructure Management and Oversight / Service Delivery experience

  • Top Secret Security Clearance is required; must be eligible to obtain an SCI clearance

  • ITIL Foundation Certification

  • Project Management Professional Certification

Desired:

  • ITIL Intermediate Continual Service Improvement Certification

  • Familiarity with the USSTRATCOM mission

The likely salary range for this position is $122,366 - $204,360. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
