General Dynamics Information Technology Administrative Assistant III- TS/SCI Polygraph in Reston, Virginia
Position requires an in-scope TS/SCI clearance and polygraph.
Performs a variety of general administrative tasks in support of the day-to-day operations of an office, group or customer.
Core hours 9am-3pm. Monday through Friday is preferred. Provide administrative support to training branch and Branch Chief (Branch size varies from four to twenty personnel when training in session). Will staff the Office reception desk (placing, screening, and responding to phone calls and greeting visitors and providing assistance). Maintain conference calendars, assist with scheduling and coordinating meetings and small conferences. Responsible for misc. topics by officers such as assistance with travel, setting up ma meeting, attendees for a meeting, etc. Prepare, submit and track travel documents for field based personnel. Prepare passports and visa documents. Assess, manage, and respond to unique problems associated with obtaining travel documents. Review policies and travel requirements to resolve issues. Provide support/serve as back up when Enterprise senior administrative support is not available. Review requirements from the field and prepare written responses and dissemination. Ability to work independently. Pays attention to detail and shows excellent organizational skills. Uses good judgement and demonstrates effective decision making skills.
Performs a variety of general administrative tasks, such as preparing reports and correspondence, coordinating travel and meeting arrangements, answering phones, filing, and sorting and distributing mail, in support of the day-to-day operations of an office, group or customer.
Compiles and analyzes various contract, program, and financial data using various database programs, and prepares monthly status reports based on the results.
Collects and inputs timesheet information into automated accounting system and processes labor corrections.
Processes purchasing requisitions, invoices for consultants and subcontractors, and travel and expense reports.
Serves as point of contact for the office or group on issues related to accounting, human resources, purchasing, and other departments, as well as external contacts such as customers, vendors, and subcontractors.
Provides work leadership to less experienced clerical and administrative personnel, and may have limited supervisory responsibilities.
Participates in special projects as required.
Associates Degree in a related business discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience.
5-8 years of related administrative experience.
