Job Description:

Position is located in Afghanistan and will support 7 days a week, 65 hours per week, and available (On call) 24/7, for the following tasks and requirements: Shall provide guidance, recommendations and support to the Information Assurance Program Manager (IAPM) and Theater Information Assurance Manager (IAM).

Shall enforce compliance with policy, regulations, and guidelines. Shall implement and enforce all DoD IS cybersecurity policies and procedures, as defined by USFOR-A, CENTCOM, DISA, and CYBERCOM, and DOD policies and documentation.

Shall ensure users and IA workforce meet training and certification requirements IAW DoD 8570. Shall ensure personnel have a favorable security investigation, authorization, and clearance before granting access to information systems. Shall oversee and coordinate implementation, dissemination, reporting, and

compliance with vulnerability and incident management programs.

Shall manage and work information assurance help desk tickets, and coordinate with regional IAMs and subordinate units. Shall distribute and maintain IA/CND policy, plans, instructions, and procedures.


  • Candidate shall hold a DoD 8570 Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level III certification

  • Background shall include a minimum of two (2) years of experience performing IAM work within the CENTCOM AOR and a minimum of two (2) years of cybersecurity management and technical experience with DoD networks.

  • Security Clearance Secret or Top Secret clearance required.
