General Dynamics Information Technology Mobile Developer in Washington, District Of Columbia
Develops, codes, deploys and maintains mobile website applications.
Work with internal and external partners to design, develop, and deliver mobile application solutions.
Experienced in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and supporting mobile app development as part of a team.
Provides technical consultation in new systems development, new package evaluations and enhancements of existing systems.
Prepares functional specifications from which programs will be written, then designs, codes, tests, debugs and documents programs.
Participates in the technical design, development, testing, implementation and maintenance of mobile application enhancements.
Plans, schedules and conducts systems tests, monitors test results, and takes appropriate corrective action.
May prepare technical user guides.
May provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced staff.
Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
Participates in special projects as required.
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience.
5-8 years of related experience in mobile app development and design.
Experience in various aspects of the mobile lifecycle, including application development (application structure, device and operation system API’s, debugging, performance, security) and deployment.
Basic knowledge – Understanding of client-server development in mobile environment, proven architect skills.
Comprehensive knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in mobile app development.
Experience with mobile app development using Angular
Professional certification(s) may be required, depending on job assignment.
